Behind the Scenes: How BizClik Brought Sustainability LIVE & Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE Chicago to Life
How BizClik’s Sustainability LIVE and Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE Chicago 2025 united leaders to drive sustainability and transform supply chains
For the BizClik team, bringing Sustainability LIVE Chicago and Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE Chicago to life was about much more than staging two events. It was about creating a space where sustainability, procurement, and supply chain leaders could address today’s most urgent challenges and shape practical solutions.
As the first North American editions of these flagship BizClik events, the Chicago co-location marked an important milestone in our live portfolio.
The programme began on Day 0 with a Zip-sponsored dinner and roundtable, followed by an exclusive drinks reception for sponsors and speakers.
Over the next two packed days, we welcomed 60+ executive speakers and hundreds of attendees, delivering exclusive content on circular economy principles, Scope 3 emissions, supply chain resilience, AI adoption, and global decarbonisation.
Why Co-Locate Sustainability and Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE?
Sustainability and procurement are deeply connected, especially when it comes to driving measurable impact.
By co-locating the two events, we enabled deeper dialogue across disciplines, with a strong focus on how procurement and supply chain strategies can accelerate sustainability outcomes.
As BizClik CEO Glen White said when opening the event:
“This is not about doing sustainability for the sake of being seen to do sustainability. Sustainability is all about an embedded culture within the business.
And today, that culture must be embedded across every function - procurement, supply chain, operations, and leadership.”

RapidRatings (Sponsor) said:

On site, the team provided top-notch, white glove service to ensure that we recognized ROI from the event, even making personal introductions to our key target audience."
Conversations that Mattered
Across both event stages, several key themes emerged:
- Tariffs & Risk: As Neil Perry, BizClik’s event host, reflected, tariff volatility and global risk were recurring topics. Many sessions explored how AI and technology adoption can build agility and resilience in procurement and supply chain functions.
- AI & Innovation: AI’s potential to accelerate both procurement transformation and sustainability outcomes was a key talking point. Speakers highlighted cutting-edge applications while also emphasising the importance of ethical and fit-for-purpose implementation.
- Leadership & Culture: From Chief Sustainability Officers to CPOs and supply chain executives, the leadership mindset was a common thread - adaptability, humility, and driving purposeful innovation in complex environments.
Key leaders were also taken backstage for exclusive video interviews with our BizClik editors, providing extra insights and value to our brand subscribers and attendees.

A Collaborative Community Across Disciplines
One of the strongest outcomes of the co-located format was the opportunity for cross-sector dialogue. Shared challenges require collaborative approaches between sustainability, procurement, and supply chain teams.
As Sean Carr, Director of Sustainability at HH Global, put it:
“Participating in this event provides an excellent opportunity to share actionable insights and collaborate with other experts to drive positive change in supply chains, which is crucial for minimising environmental impact and promoting ethical sourcing.”
The Value of BizClik’s Co-located Event Strategy
By bringing Sustainability LIVE and Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE together in Chicago, BizClik demonstrated the strength of its global events portfolio and a clear commitment to delivering real value to both audiences.
Our focus now is to evolve the series based on attendee feedback, ensuring we continue to create spaces for open, solutions-focused dialogue at future editions around the world.
As Glen White reminded attendees:
“We do this for you.”
