Moving from measurement to action

Stacy Green, Chief People & Sustainability Officer at BizClik, says "the milestone is both a validation of progress and a starting point for further action. She explains that the business is now moving into the next phase, with a focus on implementing targeted reduction initiatives across travel, events, digital infrastructure and its supplier network."

Putting emissions into context

To illustrate the scale of its footprint, BizClik’s annual emissions are comparable to:

  • 525 return flights between London and New York
  • 82 hectares of forest carbon absorption over one year
  •

These comparisons highlight both the challenge ahead and the importance of continued, measurable progress.

What the Greenly Silver Rating represents

Greenly’s Silver Climate Strategy Rating recognises organisations that have progressed beyond emissions tracking into structured decarbonisation planning.

To achieve Silver, companies must:

  • Measure emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and 3
  • Define a multi-year decarbonisation pathway
  • Implement formal reduction action plans

The assessment also considers governance factors such as supplier engagement, reduction roadmaps and how sustainability is embedded into company culture.

Companies awarded Silver typically rank within the top 10–15%, signalling strong climate performance and alignment with global frameworks such as the Paris Agreement.
