Director of Video Production

The Role

The Director of Video will have proven experience leading video projects and who thrives in a high paced environment.


The Director of Video would be in charge of seeing video projects through from concept development to post-production & delivery as well as being responsible for the training and mentoring of Junior & Midweight Videographers. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the growing video team overseeing general video production
  • Report to and work with the Chief Design Officer on day-to-day operations of the video department
  • Discuss requirements with clients as and when needed
  • Deliver high quality products on time and within budget
  • Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from clients
  • Supervise any additional staffing during busy periods
  • Ensure all projects are on schedule
  • Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary
  • Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
  • Work alongside other departments to create engaging video content for internal campaigns 
  • Proven experience leading video projects from start to finish independently. 
  • Ability when required to work to tight media deadlines efficiently. 


Required

  • Minimum 5 years professional environment experience.
  • Experience managing a team
  • Knowledge of shooting and editing videos
  • Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of video production equipment
  • Experience with live streaming is a plus
  • Excellent organisation, planning, and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as required

Monday - Thursday 8.30-5.30, Fridays 8:30-4:30


30+ days paid holiday

Salary:
