BizClik Media has completed the Net-Zero Roadmap Accelerator through The Climate Pledge Cohort Program, delivered in collaboration with Giki, strengthening the company's approach to turning its net-zero ambitions into measurable action.
As a global media and events organisation connecting business leaders across sustainability, technology, procurement, supply chain, AI and other key industries, BizClik recognises the importance of ensuring its own sustainability ambitions are matched by meaningful action.
The Net-Zero Roadmap Accelerator provided BizClik with an opportunity to take a closer look at its emissions, identify priority areas for reduction and develop a clearer and more structured roadmap for progressing its climate goals.
Through focused workshops, personalised emissions insights and practical planning tools, the programme supported participating organisations in moving beyond measuring emissions and towards understanding where action can have the greatest impact.
For BizClik, a key focus has been translating sustainability commitments into practical next steps, while considering how to build internal engagement and accountability around the company's environmental ambitions.
Moving from commitment to action
Completing the Accelerator represents another step in BizClik's wider sustainability journey.
The programme has helped provide greater clarity around priority emissions reduction opportunities and reinforced the importance of having a structured roadmap that can evolve as the business grows.
It has also highlighted the importance of bringing people across an organisation into the sustainability journey. Achieving meaningful progress towards net zero cannot sit with one person or department. It requires understanding, engagement and action across the business.
Stacy Green, Chief People & Sustainability Officer at BizClik Media, said:
"For me, one of the most valuable parts of the Accelerator was the focus on moving from ambition to action. Setting a net-zero commitment is important, but the real work is understanding what needs to change, where we can have the greatest impact and how we bring our people with us on that journey.
The programme has helped us look more closely at our priorities and think practically about the next steps we can take as a business. Sustainability is something we talk about every day through our platforms and events, so it's equally important that we continue challenging ourselves internally and making progress within our own organisation."
Learning through collaboration
Delivered as part of The Climate Pledge Cohort Program in collaboration with Giki, the Accelerator also created an opportunity to learn alongside other organisations navigating similar challenges.
That collaboration is particularly important as businesses work to translate long-term climate commitments into practical and achievable actions.
For BizClik, the programme complements its wider commitment to sustainability, both operationally and through its global platforms, including Sustainability Magazine and Sustainability LIVE, which connect sustainability leaders and organisations to share knowledge, challenge thinking and accelerate positive change.
The completion of the Net-Zero Roadmap Accelerator is not the end of that journey. It provides BizClik with additional insight, structure and tools to support the next stage of its sustainability strategy.
As the company continues to grow internationally, BizClik will continue reviewing how it can reduce its environmental impact, strengthen internal engagement and ensure sustainability remains part of how the organisation thinks, operates and grows.
Because reaching net zero isn't about earning a badge. It's about what we do next.
